I manage a small car rental business on Turo, where I’m responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation. This includes listing and maintaining the vehicles, handling customer communication, scheduling rentals, and managing finances like paying loans on time and tracking all the tolls and tickets with the help of my dad and my mom. I’ve learned how hard it might be to work with unexpected surprises, like car breakdowns or accidents. My fleet consists of cars that have been on the road for quite some time, so I get to deal with the issues that have to do with wear and tear problems. Throughout my journey, I was able to restore two cars, and I am working further, not for quantity but for quality. My experience with TURO is the biggest experience I’ve had in real adult life yet, and it teaches a lot, quickly, which makes you mature rapidly while solving adult issues. I’ve learned to provide professional customer service, solve problems quickly, and keep track of expenses and profits. The experience has also taught me about responsibility, time management, and how to keep a business running smoothly. Managing multiple cars at once gave me a real sense of what it takes to balance operations and finances while making sure customers have a positive experience.
