FUNDRAISERS
Parkland Pediatric Clinic Fundraiser
During my time shadowing at a pediatric dental clinic in Parkland, I learned firsthand how important proper oral hygiene is for children with braces, especially since many of them struggle with keeping their teeth clean. Inspired by what I saw, I decided to take action and organized a small fundraiser among my friends and family. Together, we raised $260, which I used to purchase toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other dental supplies for the clinic and its young patients. It was a meaningful experience that showed me how even a simple idea can turn into real support that makes children’s lives healthier and brighter.
Children’s House with Disabilities Fundraiser
When I visited the Children’s House in Kostroma, which supports kids with disabilities, I wanted to do more than just bring supplies—I wanted to bring joy. I organized a fundraiser with the help of my dad’s motorcycle group, ZBrothers, along with friends, and together we collected $1,135. With those funds, we provided food, clothes, toys, and hygiene products for the children, and I personally donated 500 toothbrushes from America to support their oral care. One of the most memorable parts of the day was setting up a friendly soccer match between the kids and donors, which created laughter, connection, and lasting memories. It was a powerful reminder to me of the impact that kindness and community can have on children’s lives.
