Tufts Mini Dental School

During my time at Tufts Mini Dental School, I was introduced to the fundamentals of dentistry through a mix of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. I gained an understanding of the different dental specialties, oral anatomy, and the importance of oral health in overall well-being. The program gave me the opportunity to practice basic skills, such as using dental instruments on models, making impressions, and exploring how technology like digital imaging is used in dentistry. I also learned about the patient-care side of dentistry—how communication, precision, and problem-solving are essential for success in the field. Overall, the experience deepened my interest in dentistry, gave me exposure to what dental school training is like, and confirmed my passion for pursuing a future in healthcare.
